Metal Gear Solid 4
Metal Gear Solid is one of the series that Gametrash loves, and we went nuts when we heard Kojima's name. With an old snake as shown in the previous game, Old Snake proceeds to explain how War has changed, and all soldiers have now fundamentally changed from what they once were. Featuring old characters from previous games such as Meryl Silverburgh and Otacon, Snake returns to Outer Heaven to fight what the game calls Liquid Ocelot- the mix of Liquid Snake and Revolver Ocelot, to finally stop the creation of a private military corporation centered in the small middle eastern town. And yes, fans, Raiden is back in all of his odd glory.

The Controller Revealed
If you read anything about E3 in 2005, you would know that the controller, lovingly named the boomerang, was absolutely horrible. Well, to no-one's surprise, it was fixed- but in more ways than one. Resembling the traditional Dual Shock system, the new Playstation 3 controller, much like the Wii controller, can feel motion.
However, there are key differences in the Sony controller. For one thing, it only has six degrees of freedom, made to tilt and move to control such things as a plane's axis, or even picking up and throwing the familiar yellow duck. While a lot of Nintendo fans went nuts over what they considered theft, it was still an innovation in the game department, and it spelled one thing for Nintendo fans toting uniqueness- uh oh.
Pricng and Closing
About two hours of gaming later, it was time to close. But, thankfully, they gave us the very last question we all had- price. Check, if you will, the official prices for the system:

And that closed it. A price, some games, and some definite tension. With two hours of absolutely orgasm-inducing information and huge HD videos to watch, Sony definitely had one hell of a press conference this year. All we can do now is wait, save, and pray the PS3 will come out when Sony announces it will- because the only thing I want now is a controller with a PS3 logo on it in my hand on November 17th.
