    Processor:
3.0 ghz Intel Pentium 4 with HT technology- $170
Okay, this is his concept, not mine. Running at about $170.00, this is definately your entry level Pentium 4. However, it benifits from being Socket 775, which essentially means that if he were to ever want to upgrade, he would have a lot better options without a costly Motherboard switch. Also, it nicely has Hyperthreading, which will definately help him out when it comes to 3D editing (I'm thoroughly convinced that Pentiums do better work while Athlons do better at play, so thats my concept). Also, for $170, its basically a steal.

    Video Card:
    ATI x700 Pro 256 MB GDDR3 PCI EXPRESS- $170
Again this falls under one of his prerequisites for this machine. While I would much rather have him save up more cash and put it toward the x800 for more pipelines, this definately will fit the bill for any high-end graphics he'll be throwing at it. The x800 series, while being definately more expensive, tends to not have the edge worth the price for those building budget computers, and ATI knows that well. Unfortunately, he chose this as a stock model, so we're going to have to do something to make sure his machine doesnt burn to peices because of lacklustre video cooling.

    Motherboard:
    ABIT Fatal1ty AA8XE Motherboard- $218
While I always have lampooned these motherboards as being really cheezy for supporting an "E-athlete" or whatever the hell he calls himself, this Motherboard is really decked out for your typical gamer. With the new Intel 925XE chipset and 4GB DDR2 support, this Motherboard will last as long as he'll need it. Of course, fitting with his "I NEED COOLING" desires, it has two small cooling fans on the motherboard out of the case, a rarity, plus Firewire, USB, and onboard LAN. Also, with the new PCI Express x16, his Video Card will run quite nicely, along with added PCI and PCI Express standards. Woot.

    Power Supply:
    Ultra X-Connect 500watt- $50 + $15
The Ultra X-Connect is great because, obviously, you don't have a shitload of wires out of it. Simply, you plug in what you need. Great, huh? Regardless, it also has two 80mm fans, and 500watts is enough for power-hungry PCI Express (Especially the video card and all his damned fans), so he's in the clear on this puppy. Also, note, about $15 is added so he can get special hookups for the video card and any other issues. I'm good like that.
