Rule of Rose is a survival horror game for the Playstation 2, currently available only in Japan. Its plot involves a 19 year old woman named Jennifer, in 1930s England, who ends up being trapped in a world ruled by young girls who establish a hierarchy and a series of rules.
The game is heavily stylized. The enemies are doll-like, yet bleed when attacked, and let out loud child-like yells. The music features heavy use of string guitars, while three vocal songs in 1930s style are included.
