  • Revolution Controller Revealed!

    by Kirk, 2005-09-15
It's worse than we thought, folks. Nintendo has gone god-d*** bats***. I'm not playing around, they have lost their god d***ed minds. It's like they took any good concept of gaming, shoved it into a blender, pissed inside it, and raped the plug they plugged the blender in. It's absolutely, positively, horrible, without any excuse.

Let me show you what it looks like:

The first question you're probably asking yourself is "Is that a remote?". Yes it is, folks. It's the exact same design as the NES remote. Remember back when the SNES came out and we were all hyped because of all the stuff you could do with the extra buttons? The shoulder buttons and all that?

Yeah, consider your childhood down the god d***ed drain.

Just some specs for you and some basic info. The controller has the following buttons:
    - Power
    - A Control Pad
    - A
    - B (Under the controller as a trigger)
    - b (Lowercase)
    - a (Lowercase)
    - Select
    - Home
    - Start

Wow, lemme count that. One.. two... okay, it's got 4 gameplay buttons, a control pad, start, and select. It's WORSE THAN THE SNES CONTROLLER.

Okay, time for all fairness. Notice how it's a controller? There's a trick to it. It's a lightgun. Yes, you can use it to point to the screen and move or generically interact with anything onscreen. With that, you can become "one" in the game- ergo, you can slash Link's sword, punch someone in a boxing game.. the list is endless. As well, it detects where it is in a 3D plane, so you move around the controller to move stuff on screen as well.

Now for my commentary. You all already know I hate it. Let me explain WHY.
