  • Murder and its practical uses on G4

    by Daniel, 2005-07-05
Ok, so I went on vacation this last week to Marco Island, an hour drive from Miami in which I live. There we rented a house with 3 rooms, each had a TV in it. However, they had mostly news channels and G4. Since I had never seen G4 I thought I might give it a shot, even if Kirk already went psycho crazy 'G4 sucks' on it. Even so, I had to see how I felt.

Now, the first show that was on was X-Play, with ADAM SESSLER AND MORGAN WEBB (i dont care if its One B, i'm pretty sure its two. And if Morgan Webb wants to come and make me fix it I'd like to see her ugly-skinny ass try) reviewing games. Here's what I think about X-Play.

Basically, X-Play DOES review the games in a way where I feel that I might want to or not want to go get that game, however they pack each review with:

    Corny Jokes

Stupid Animations (They were reviewing some submarine game and did some queer animation done on paint and crap. It had Sean Connery and a lot of other bullcrap, trying to be funny but failing miserably)

Rants of them going like 'FLASHLIGHTS FLASHLIGHTS OH OH FLASHLIGHTS'

Then to top it off, I saw one episode where they went on for about 10 GOOD minutes having a fake ad about free stuff they get from VG Companies. The only one worth looking at was the Everquest sword that they got, but it was totally useless to show that to the public much less use a drunk employee to wear/use any of the crap.

X-Play delivers justice to reviews but totally destroys the gamers experience of just wanting to know about the game by putting crap into everything. Oh and everytime the announcer announces them after commercial he says things like 'DONT FEED THE ADAM SESSLER AND MORGAN WEBB' or 'IF YOU LIKED NOT HAVING GENITAL HERPES, THEN WATCH OUT CAUSE HERE COMES ADAM SESSLER AND MORGAN WEBB'
