  • Good Lord 4: Love Hina GBC

So far as I've seen, this game is like the laziest dating simulation I've ever played. First off, it uses the stereotypical "One-color-range" background, and even the characters you talk to are rather washed out. However, I will say that it is quite impressive that the Game Boy Color can put out this many colors, but then again, this is a joke compared to a game like Shadowgate on the GBC.

Okay, so I've beat around the bush for a while. There's a reason. This game deserves to be in "Good Lord" for one, big, ugly reason.

    You do absolutely jack shit.

You think I'm kidding. As you can see in the above pictures, there is a clock in the message box. You literally screw away days looking for girls in different rooms and speaking to them. What are they saying? Well, my official LAZY ASS GAIJIN POWERS translate this game to be basically one big waste of time. Literally, the creators of this game, in any given conversation, did one of the following:

    1. Use lines from the anime series.
    2. Sligly alter lines from the anime series.
    3. Make up lines that arent a far deviation from the series.

So there's really absolutely nothing special about the dialogue in this game. I understand that it is somewhat of a "BE KEITARO" simulation, but jeez- if this is his life, I wonder why he hasnt slit his wrists.
