And finally, X-Play. X-Play is hard to make fun of, because it's like Judgement Day, except for the fact it has a lot of humor in it and a lot less Tommy Tellarico. In fact, X-Play has made me crack up sometimes with lines like:
"The GDC is a conference for game developers to give each other awards. Its cool to give your own co-workers awards! Sometimes, Adam and I just like to give each other pats on the back, because we know we're so cool."
Of course, X-play also has a distinct problem of sometimes not being very funny at all. Regardless, it's a good attempt to make a TV show I enjoy watching, and I hope it keeps going.
I think that sums up all of G4's shows, at least for now. I know I hate most of G4, but I wouldnt advise anyone to give up on it- hopefully, they'll learn from their mistakes. And hopefully, they'll get rid of the "Pretending to be a hip MTV-like channel" and get back into "Making stuff gamers actually will watch".
