  • Who Says Demon's Are Bad?

  • When I first played this game, as the intro was playing, I had mixed feelings. The 1st game was awesome, but the 2nd Devil May Cry just sucked more than ever. I didn't know what to expect from this one.

I have no doubt about it now.

    This game kicks ass.

This game's setting is a prequel to the 1st Devil May Cry, and sets you, Dante, in some city where you're fighting your brother, Virgil, on a giant tower. Long story short, the tower reappears and stuff and you gotta fight a bunch of demons and get a bunch of awesome stuff.

This game is highly addictive, but only if you can handle it. This game is EXTREMELY fast paced, and if you don't have quick reflexes you'll get owned quickly. With all the jumping and switching weapons (once you get more) to better suit your style. The combos kick ass, from jumping into the air, taking out ebony and ivory (Your pistols) and spinning around while shooting a barrage of bullets through demon's heads, it just can't get better than this.

The music is very low key. It's very much just hiding in the background, and it's very soft and not very complex. The sound however, works amazingly with the setting. Even the slash of your sword and the shots of your pistols are all the music you'll need. Although Dante's voice pisses me off a bit though. He sounds too "punk rocker" from New York a bit. But mostly, you're just worrying about how you'll survive.

The graphics are great, smooth. I salute Capcom for such great textures and smoothness. Even with all the fast moving and mid-air stalls while shooting your guns, it stays smooth and sleek.

Overall, this game gets a Perfect. Capcom probably worked their asses off to make this game, and they did a great job.

    Demons are great.
