A damn good RPG
Everyone who has played this thinks its one of the best RPG's around. I totally agree. You have a great story, characters, and mini games.
![]() The story takes place on a world on the way to destruction. You are Cloud, a Ex-Soldier who was hired by Avalanche to take out some generators. But then he gets pulled into a mission to stop Sephiroth and save the world. For graphics, these are pretty decent for its time. The cinematics look great, but in game looks all chibi. The people will have no fingers or really any detailing. In battle mode, the people look alot better. Considering how characters on almost all the Final Fantasy games did before this one. ![]() As for music, this has got to be one of my favorite soundtracks. You have your classical music, a rockish music, and a little techno. Also this games soundtrack sold the most in any game soundtrack (probably Halo 2 now but I don't know for sure.) The sound effects are a little less quality to the music. Alot of the sound effects to me don't match up to its real life counterparts, but they did a good job at trying. If you ever decide to buy a RPG, this one is the best choice. Even though its only three disks comparing to the rest of the PS1 Final Fantasy games with four disks, they have like twice the amount of content. This game is more of a one fourth of a 1/4 of a mushroom, the rating system doesn't allow it. So it gets a five star.
