Final Fantasy VII is a console and computer role-playing game released by Square Co., Ltd. in 1997. It was the first game of the Final Fantasy series to be produced for the Sony PlayStation video game console, and the first game in the series to be ported to Microsoft Windows-based personal computers. Additionally, it was the first Final Fantasy title to utilize 3D computer graphics, with fully rendered characters and prerendered backgrounds.
