  • One of the Best Adventure games

  • I absolutly love this game, hands down, I liked it better than Diablo. Nintendo's hayday was when this was released. I thought it was the best thing ever. Zelda 64, it started many of manys of rumors, including Obtaining the Triforce. It started many sites that are now Popular, including Oddessy of Hyrule and Zelda's Secret Ocarina. Nothing can beat this.

The story of this, starts the whole zelda saga. You are Link and you live in a forest full of Crazy kids with farires. However, you are the only one who doesn't have a farire, It is until The Great Tree summons you where you meet Navi and your quest begins. After the Tree dungeon, you exit the forest for the first time, to see the beautiful land of Hyrule. It all starts here. You Meet Zelda and if I said anymore, it would be a spoiler.

I like this game because it has alot of "stuff" in it. I think Nintendo when they made the N64 turned around and said, "Hey let's see how much crap we can possibly put in our cartidges" and so Zelda was made. There's about 11 dungeons, alot of potential eggs and alot of the Tradtional Zelda action. It lives up to the Genre and than some more. The "You save Zelda from Ganon, with lots of plot twists." still lives. However, this game, introduced Ganondorf, the Baddy of the day award. We do not know at this time, how in fact Ganondorf relates to Ganon. I bet it be best left a mystery.

The soundtrack sound like Starfox, because of the composer used the same hardware to compose Zelda's music. It's simply amazing to listen. Zelda 64's music can compare great to fantastic soundtracks like FF7. Like, the One-Winged Angel VS. Hyrule Field. It's a close combat, if it weren't for the FF7 fanboys.

The worlds make the Rightious of the Game, if it wasn't for the leveling that Nintendo did, this wouldn't be as great. Hyrule Field takes over 4 minutes to cross from one corner to another, it's that big. The dungeons are well put together. Unlike gaming today, this was CHALLEGING. Sometimes you could get lost, going room to room, feeling like this would take forever, that's called gaming. The challenge takes hours to complete.

There's also a hidden Beta content left in the cartridge by the programmers, that is easily obtianed by a gameshark, this is called Beta Quest. See, before the Game was made, this was the tests that the programmers would make in this room to teleport to places or test out things. The Enterances/Exits are scrammbled because the Final part of the game is defined and the Beta Maps are gone. However, there's still a few more Beta Maps left in the game.
