Bend Over, Here IT Comes Again
Before we begin, everyone has strong feelings about Halo 2. Some feel its the best game created by human hands, others think its an over rated POS. This is my (superior) opinion, do deal with it.
Does anyone remember Halo 1? How it absolutly kicked rear for several years? Here it comes again. This game only adds to the action formula of Halo 1, and doesn't really take anything away. The control is as tight as its ever been, and the slight autoaim makes a return. There is no problems technology wise (slowdown, bugs, glitches). The graphics are better looking than [insert cute bimbo here], and for once, you can actually see your feet! That's right folks, for the first time in gaming history you can count those little piggly wigglies. (This little piggy went to the gun shop....) This works wonderfully, and completly animates when you jump, crouch and run. No issues there. Also, it is in place for the Elite character with no hiccups. The campaign is good, but could be better. It's pretty repetitive. After a while, you could get bored, but for the more easily amused around us, its heaven. Either way, is not a bad way to spend a few hours. The multiplayer is as good as its ever been, and even on crowded servers, there is little lag. Splitscreen is back, and is better than ever. Xbox live performs great, except for the times when on team is too heavily stacked against to other, or when one single fag with a sniper rifle ow3ns an entire team. You might just be asking, "with all the good stuff, this game must be great! I should sell my brother/sister/dog to buy this!" I wouldn't stop you (I never liked siblings anyway) but Halo2 isn't that good. For one, you never, ever carry enough ammo in the single player campaign. After a while, you never use a battle rifle ('cause you don't have any blanking ammo for it), instead you must use crappy, not so cool guns like the plasma rifle. Level after level. (The sword is cool though) In the end, while Halo 2 isn't a waste of time, its not the "perfect" game. If I could, I would give this 4 stars. If anyone dissagrees, they could 1) Kiss my ass 2) Post their own opinion.
