Age of Empires

This Real time strategy has been played over a year of my life and its 1 year well spent. The game where you'd sit on your ass all day and go with clan and arch everyone, make new maps as well as experiment with Strategies vs. AI. The game win, in which would take 2 hours each round. You are playing an Age of Empires game.

See, Age of Empires is a Real-Time Strategy that spans from Stone Age to Post-Iron Age, You control a series of units, aka "Your Men" to go an conquer the other eniemes in the game. Trust me when I say, its a very addictive game.



GFX are 2d, even if it looks like 3d, it's 2d sprites. This game was a competitor against Starcraft, which had the same basic idea. Each sprite is from 8 diffrent angles of every unit, and the Sprites have animations and so on. Nothing really much to say but that's HARD to do now a days by hand and scratch, of course.

The Music is an instant classic, Suspiensiful music fits the "Find and Destory" mood. Also, found by my boredom, The CD also could be put in the CD Player so you can listen to your favorite AOE tunes while away from your PC, which means you can make your own AOE tunes if you inject the AOE with a NO-CD crack* .



The Sound can be annoying at times but also, it can start your blood to pump. You are 2 hours in a game and you hear a monk, it makes you want to get super-pumped and nuke the d***ed town and makes you want to build bigger and faster machines of doom to INPEND EXPLODING DOOM ON YOUR DOOMED ENEMIES WITH AN IRON FIST OF DOOM!!!! or bash your head into the table trying to make it stop. I only have problems with the Monks, the Bowmen and the fire sounds. No big deal.

I'm giving this game 3 stars, Games can last up to 2 hours if you are a serious gamer. There's cheats which add the fun to the already beaten levels. It could also ruin the gaming expirence. The Level Editor, in which, gives you full sandbox-like control of the game you want to create, no limits, no rules, You make the game! The flaws are the fact that some sounds are annoying, Monks are like AWPs in CS and the fact that the 2d Sprites are only PIXELS neigh high. Which means, you could lose your people in a high resoultion.

*-Im NOT saying go and download AOE and doing the Crack. NOCD cracking games you OWN is only Legal. Don't be a pirate and follow the law.
