  • Continuum is like a crappy version of any space ship shooter I have ever played. The controls are messed up, the sound effects sucked, and even when it says 200 people are playing, its only like 7.

First off this has no story to it. Any server you go on, it will either be like a crap version of team slayer, or some territories thing that is impossible to win or lose. You can choose from 9 ships, usually. Some servers make it only 4 instead. Don’t ask me why.

The graphics are a downside too. It might look good at first, but give it some more detailed and you’ll notice the graphics plain out suck compare to other freeware 2D games. Also the graphics usually don’t even align with the walls in the game. I’ll be driving into a tunnel, and hit a invisible wall where the wall should be half a inch to the left or something like that.

The sound effects are usually explosion, and that’s mostly it. There are some servers with 10 second loop music, that after awhile you’ll get sick of it and leave.

The controls are completely messed up for me on the keyboard. You can change it, but this is for the default setting. You move with the arrow, ctrl for fire 1, shift for fast speed, and tab for bomb or something. Also I think insert is warp. I get confused sometimes when playing this, and press fast speed instead of fire and die.

If you want a 2D top down view space ship fighting game, then look elsewhere. This is a piece of crap I wish I never tried out.

And yes I DID try to find pictures, but they were either in a format this site does'nt support or it was a X, if you want to try it, heres the link www.subspacehq.com
