TimeShift is an un-released video game being published by Vivendi Universal, now called Vivendi Games. It is scheduled for a Autumn 2006 release. It is being developed by Saber Interactive, who also made the game, Will Rock, on a new proprietary engine. A few pieces of Will Rock carry over to TimeShift, such as the way gibs are shown, to some of the unique weapon designs.
The main feature of the game allows the player to stop, rewind or slow down time, similar to the Xbox game Blinx: The Time Sweeper or Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, but unlike those games, player is not affected by time manipulations and can use time powers to fight enemies or handle specific time puzzles.
The first publisher (Atari) was changed to Vivendi Universal on April 20, 2006.
