AND 1 Streetball is an upcoming Streetball videogame coming out for Playstation 2 and Xbox in June of 2006, developed by Black Ops Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. It was excepted to come in May of 2006. Ubisoft delayed the game to perfect alley-oops, ankle-breakers, and playground taunts. The extra time in development will give Ubisoft the chance "to deliver the highest quality gaming experience." The release date is also a few days after this year's And 1 Mix Tape Tour--which Streetball is based on--begins.
While not the first game to feature AND 1 players, AND 1 Streetball is officially licensed by the company, and will include all current AND 1 players as well as Duke Tango, AND 1's MC for its annual Mix Tape Tours.
The game will feature a story mode mirroring the "Streetball" series on ESPN, where players will be able to create their own baller and enter him in the AND 1 Mix Tape Tour in order to get a contract with the AND 1 team. Along the way, players will be able to create their own stylized trick moves and pull them off with a two-analog stick system called "I BALL."
The Playstation 2 version will support multiplayer via multitap and GameSpy, while the XBox version will include XBox Live support.
