LocoRoco is a future title for the Sony PSP. The player must tilt the environment in the game using the L or R shoulder buttons in order to maneuver a jelly-like character through levels via gravity.
Loco roco is the name of the species of this blob. By eating fruit, the loco roco will grow in size. By pressing Circle, the player can split the one big loco roco into many smaller loco roco. This is necessary for travelling through tight spaces. The many small loco roco can be recombined by holding down Circle. When L and R are pressed simultaneously, the loco roco will jump.
Following the release of Firmware 2.7 on April 25, 2006, a demo of the game was released on the game's website. The demo includes one level that will take the player around 10-15 minutes to complete. Currently the demo is only available in Japanese. The game is scheduled to be released on July 13, 2006.
