  • Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy is the sequel to the cult video game Lego Star Wars: The Video Game. As the title suggests, it will cover the Original Trilogy.

The game will be released on PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360, Nintendo GameCube, Game Boy Advance, Microsoft Windows, Nintendo DS, and PlayStation Portable. It will be released September 2006. It is being developed by Traveller's Tales on the console, PSP, and PC Windows versions, and Amaze Entertainment will be developing the GBA and DS versions. Each version is being published by LucasArts/TT Games. All characters, buildings, vehicles, etc. will be made out of Lego bricks. Like the first game, this game seems to be filled with the same charming humour that neither takes itself, nor its subject matter, at all seriously. The ability to "create" your lego Star Wars characters is also been planned out. Such as using Lando Clarrison outfit with Greedo's head and a lightsaber as a primary weapon. Also, using the memory card from the previous Lego Star Wars (PS2, Xbox and Nintendo Gamecube), you can transfer the prequel characters into the Original Trilogy.
