Baten Kaitos Origins (known as Baten Kaitos II in Japan) is a video game unveiled at the 2005 Tokyo Game Show by Namco and Monolith Studios. The official name was recently revealed at E3 on May 10, 2006 [1]. It is the second game in the Baten Kaitos series, and a prequel to Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean. Unlike the first game, the sequel will be published by Nintendo in Japan and the US. It was released on February 23, 2006 in Japan, and will be released in North America on September 25, 2006.
