Halo 3 is a first-person shooter (FPS) video game currently under development by Bungie Studios for the Xbox 360. An official announcement on the developers' website states that Halo 3 will end the current story arc, and could potentially end the Halo trilogy. Halo 3 is scheduled to be released in 2007. Bill Gates was originally quoted as saying that Microsoft planned the release of Halo 3 to coincide with that of the Sony PlayStation 3, but these comments have been retracted [1].
