Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (commonly abbreviated MGS3) is a stealth-based game directed by Hideo Kojima. It was developed and published by Konami for PlayStation 2. It is the sixth game in the Metal Gear series, and was released in North America on November 17, 2004, in Japan on December 16, 2004, and in Europe on March 4, 2005. An extended version of the game, Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence, is also available.
