Yoshi's Island minus fun
Now to start off this review, I did not enjoy this game. It was a big pain in the ass. It looks like a innocent kiddish game, but this is not a game for kids. It was pretty difficult. Not TOO difficult but just annoying.
This games plot is basically the same (if there IS a plot) to Yoshi’s Island. The game starts with Baby Mario falling. You draw clouds to maneuver him around from the bad guys and spikes. Then after that Baby Mario falls onto Yoshi and you do the same thing but walking instead of falling. After you complete that, the game repeats. That’s it, a giant two mini game...game! ![]() As for graphics, its kind of the same as Yoshi’s Island except 3Dish characters. The backgrounds are pretty decent looking. That’s all I can really say about graphics. For sound, it’s a mix of Yoshi Story and Yoshi’s Island music. So if you liked the music from those games, then you will enjoy the music. Sound effects are basically the same. Yoshi’s voice is in the game. When you make him double jump, he does the taking a crap sound. ![]() The multiplayer mode isn’t that great. It’s just one player mode without the falling part. You can see your opponent on the top screen, but you will be too busy with all the s*** attacking you on your own screen. In the end of the day, this doesn’t really interest me. I basically stopped playing this after about ten minutes. If you REALLY have to have a new DS game, go ahead. If not, then turn your head from this.
