Tony Hawk's American Wasteland is a video game currently announced for the PC. It has also been released for the PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360 and Nintendo GameCube. The game was developed by Neversoft and published by Activision. Tony Hawk's American Wasteland is the first Tony Hawk game to support Xbox Live; online play was previously limited to the PlayStation 2.
American Wasteland is the sequel to Tony Hawk's Underground 2, one of many in the popular Tony Hawk extreme sports game series. The game was released on October 18, 2005 for PS2, Xbox, and Nintendo GameCube. This is around the time of the expected release of the Xbox 360 in November 2005. It was a launch game for the Xbox 360 and was released simultaneously with the console on November 22, 2005.
The Nintendo DS version of this game, American Sk8land, will be the second game to support the Wi-Fi functions, allowing online compatibility.
