i dont know if that would pose a problem to you or not though

Depends on what game you are getting. Not every game needs reading.

Generally never, unless they plan to release it in the US, then it's over here anyway. The best way to get stuff in English is to find hacks- but if that's not available, you actually have to resort to learning Japanese.

However, your luck is that GOOD import games- Tsukihime especially- generally have teams working on them to translate them. Tsukihime is already done- Fate/Stay Night is next, which is ultra ***** awesome.

I have a friend that was able to obtain a Gameboy game that contained many games in one cartridge. For example, it had a Pokemon Gold game and a game I believe is named Contra. However, the text was in Japanese so it was difficult to play. Is this an example of an imported game?

No, what you bought was a bootleg, where usually third world countries steal games, rip them onto blank cartridges, and sell them for profit while the original creators don't see a penny.

Oh ok. But I didn't buy the game, my friend let me borrow it for a few days. Thanks for letting me know!

Are you serious or are you joking? What I described occurred a few years ago.

I'm **** dead serious. Grab it and burn it. Record it. Then put it on YouTube.com so all can enjoy.

Like I said, this event happened a few years ago, and I doubt my friend still has the game. I don't talk to him much anymore anyways.
