Okay, many of you will notice starting November 29th and until the finish date, Gametrash.com will be hosting a banner ad and many links for Child's Play, an organization we have chosen to sponsor this year.

What is Child's Play? Child's Play can be one of two things to you. On the one hand, it's a way as gamers that we can show not all of us are miniature Timothy McVeighs. Second off, it's a way we can give a little to needy kids on Christmas. And we'll be giving the gift of the super freaking awesome: Video Games.

Child's Play was set up two years ago by Mike Krahulik and Jerry Holkins as a general charity for gamers, and now it has pretty much become the #1 way for gamers to donate to kids. Every Christmas, different hospitals put together an Amazon.com wish list of things they want- books, toys, and even Video Games- and allow you to purchase them to be directly sent to the hospital for Christmas. It's basically like camwhores, except this time you'll be feeling one hell of a lot better this Christmas instead of feeling guilty about sending "Openlegs69" that System of a Down CD.

So, basically, we've got hospitals all over the world who need stuff, primarily in North America, but also in Britain. By buying a Children's hospital something, not only are you going to wave off all that evil sin you got by buying that Grand Theft Auto game, but you'll be showing those jerks like our "Favorite" Jack Thompson that gamers are not the scum of the earth. The charity has been showing that for two years, and now it's Gametrash's turn to try to pitch in.

So, from now on, Gametrash has officially lost it's "STORE" link while Child's play is still going on. Any money you would have spent on Gametrash, be it for one of our t-shirts or even one of my reviewers buying/renting a game to review, buy something for a hospital located on the Child's Play map. It's cheaper, you'll get a lot more enjoyment out of it, and trust me, our T-shirts suck.

So, to set the standard, I'm going to make a promise: From now until the end of Child's Play, I intend to put every single dime I make via work or other means towards Child's Play. Every single penny, every single dime, every single quarter. Hell, it may not be much, but hopefully, some of you will follow suit.

And, in the immortal words of 4chan on their donating run,
    "Don8 or Die".
