Nintendo DS: Two thumbs brokenby Caleb, 2005-06-18 |

Lately there's been alot of buzz about "How great the new Nintendo DS systems are"
Unfortunately, unless your big with chatting and hurting your wrist, this system is NOT a good system at all. Talking with Gamestop and Game Xchange about this system (Along with abunch of Nintendo Power reviews) all this system is, is a mini Nintendo Gamecube. As one employee in Game Xchange said, about 98% of the games on Nintendo DS are Nintendo Gamecube games with a changed name. Either that, or just plain Nes games Though, those would be pretty good for the old school gamer, I however do NOT see why you could not play them on an original NES system OR a Gameboy advance SP. One thing good about this, however, is the chatting system. Unfortunately, you may only chat on the DS systems within a limited range, and I don't see what the use of chatting within a small range and wasting batteries instead of just walking up to the person and starting a civilized conversation. On a simple note, this system is basically only good for people either constantly on the go, or people that are obsessed with chatting. (This system is NOT worth buying unless your one of those two things) |
